Núi Bà Đen rises 986 metres above the Tây Ninh plain, a solitary granite massif visible for sixty kilometres across the Mekong Delta lowlands. Weekly ceremonies draw thousands of devotees, particularly during Tết and the annual Bà Đen Festival in the third lunar month. The cable car route passes through three distinct ecological zones. Lower slopes support rubber plantations and cashew orchards, remnants of French colonial agriculture. Mid-elevation forests host over 230 bird species, including crested serpent eagles and white-rumped shamas. The summit plateau experiences temperatures eight degrees cooler than the plain below, with persistent morning fog from November through February. Clear days offer views extending to Ho Chi Minh City, 96 kilometres southeast, and the Cambodian border, 45 kilometres west. Most visitors combine gondola access with ground-level attractions. The base station area contains an amusement park with alpine coaster tracks, a koi pond garden, and restaurants serving Tây Ninh specialties like bánh tráng phơi sương and canh chua cá lóc.
